Makeswift's New Pricing Changes

You might have noticed some updates to our pricing on the website, and we want to take a moment to share the reasoning behind these changes. As we’ve grown , we’ve been tuning in to your feedback and evolving our product and offering accordingly. It’s important to us that our pricing plans are designed to ensure you get the most value from Makeswift, no matter where you are on your website journey, whether you’re just starting out or managing an enterprise-level site.

Every team is unique, and we understand that when it comes to creating and managing your online presence, one size definitely doesn’t fit all. We’ve crafted our new pricing plans around key factors that reflect the different stages of a company’s growth.



Here’s what we considered:



1. Publishing Frequency: How often do you need to push updates to your site?
2. Workflow Control: How much oversight do you need over your marketing team’s processes?
3. Localization: How many regions do you need to localize your content for?
4. Members: How many team members need editing or admin access?

All of our plans come with unlimited sites, pages, and editing capabilities. We want you to create, manage, and explore your website without worrying about extra costs that often come with building before publishing. Plus, you can invite as many read-only guests as you need at no extra charge – so all of your stakeholders can view new changes and updates when needed, before they are pushed live.



The biggest update to our pricing plans is our introduction of metered publishing. We want to help our members establish a more controlled publishing workflow to minimize risk. While you’re still iterating on your content in the Makeswift builder, you can leverage preview mode to check your change, ensuring that you don’t use your publishes before you’re ready to share your changes with the world.

An unlimited amount of guests can be added to your workspace to preview content as well, so you aren’t relying on publishing to gather stakeholder feedback. Once your content is live, you can take advantage of bulk publishing to optimize your publish limits.



Lets walk through a quick overview of each of our new pricing plans:



Free Plan

Our Free Plan is a great starting point for those who are just beginning their website journey or have a smaller business. If you’re publishing updates infrequently, 5 times a month—which ends up being about once a week—and don’t require many additional features, this plan is perfect for you. You can also localize your content for 3 locales and collaborate with 3 workspace members.



Starter Plan

For small to medium sized businesses, our Starter Plan is available for $79/month. This plan helps growing teams who need to make site updates more frequently, allowing for 20 monthly publishes and 3 locales. This plan also unlocks team workflow features such as publish rollbacks, and history for up to 30 days.



Team Plan

For teams looking to expand their capabilities, our Team Plan is available for $299/month. This plan includes scheduled publishing, instant rollbacks, and publish history for up to 90 days. You’ll be able to publish updates 50 times a month so this plan is ideal for teams who need to make changes to their site on a daily basis. This plan also includes 5 locales and 5 workspace members.



Enterprise Plan

For larger organizations with more complex needs, our Enterprise Plans start at $1,000/month. If your team is publishing changes to your site ~3 or more times per day, this plan is for you. It includes tightly controlled approval workflows and allows for localization in 10+ regions. You’ll also have access for 10 or more workspace members, ensuring your entire team has the tools they need to succeed.
